A little help with eye kohl?? How do I do this...?

Hey, I'm really interested in knowing how I can apply kohl and make it look like Pete Wentz's (Fall Out Boy) or Gerard Way's (My Chemical Romance)

it seems like he has this smudge effects at the ends... Can anyone tell me a simple way of getting that? I don't really know how to use the kohl yet... so maybe some advice would be great too!! I'm open to any suggestions or your experience with eyeliner. Let me know what brand you recommend for long lasting too.. thanks!!!A little help with eye kohl?? How do I do this...?
I suggest Rimmel products for this. They make a lot of things that cater to the punk scene, the products are good quality and not very expensive.





First, you need a liner (I use Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil in Jet Black) Pull your eyelid down and toward the outside edge of you face just a bit. This lets you apply to the skin while it's taut, and gives you better control.





Second, a shadow. I suggest Rimmel Smokin! Kohl Shadow in black. It comes with the appropriate smudging applicator to create a controlled smudge look. Its a loose powder shadow that comes in what looks like a nail polish bottle.





Start at the center underneath your eye and brush first backwards and then toward your nose. This will ensure you don't get a large clump of powder at the corner of your eye!





It looks that this individual used a brown eye shadow for the top lid for a softer look. If you have smallish eyes, you may want to use brown like that instead of black, to avodi 'closing' the eye in and making it look beady. Big eyes? use black, no problem.





Finish off the look with a touch of mascara.

Gerard uses MAC makeup. Not really informative sorry lol but its all I know.
well im practically eye kohl queen! being middleeastern its in my blood, anyway the easiest and fastest way is make sure u have whatever eyeshadow u want u can get this look with whatever color u want, then take the eye pencil trace on the inside of ur lids up and donw on inside, then take the eye pencil start with bottom outter corner and take the pencil back and forth on the eyelash rim and keep tracing till u have the thickness of the line on the bottom that u want, going to the inner area of ur eye, and continue with the top forming a line all the way out but not as thick as the bottom, some mascara will make them look amazing and there u go, i use diana of london eyeliner arabian nights black, i dont know if they sell it in the us, but heres theyre website with there great line of makeup
I suggest using MAC because it is known for being bold and intense. Good quality, but sort of expensive--totally worth it. its long-lasting, easy-to-apply, and variety.


1. Apply Shadestick (eyeshadow stick) in Sharkskin on the top eyelid.


2. Take Eye Kohl in Smolder and slide it on the top and bottom rim of your eyelid. Then on the bottom lid, start from the center of it and work your way to te outer edge, applying the liner thicker. Smudge it outward.


3. Take the eyeshadow stick again and fill in any spaces in the liner to make it even darker and smudge that as well.


4. Clean up any loose powder or junk and you're read to go.





*If you want defined eyelashes, try Pro Lash in Coal Black, but just a suggestion.

this is called smokey eye effect. you can use kohl pencils available in any brand





trick is how to apply the kohl in a way to make it look smokey.
