hi! firstly don't give a flying fig about what the norm is, second, i am of arab-israeli-turk- you name it descent and i am very pale with dark eyes and hair (in a bob now) i have done my eyes the way u describe forever. am not goth, just cultural thing. black khol. sometimes i overdid it and my dad was like 'u look like cleopatra, try to change it a little' so with a few tips u can leanr to apply it nicely but still to ur taste. u will not look like goth believe me. just lookup tips and such. colour the entire eye in black, or brown, or any other dakr colour, u can add shadow for an effect, and try the liquid wing it's hot now! have fun my middle eastern chika! ur eyes will look very hot and appealing...just remeber beauty is in the eye of the beholder and no need to dress to impress. :DCan you get away with heavy black kohl-rimmed eyes if you鈥檙e of Middle Eastern descent?
I think that heavy black kohl rimmed eyes can look good on anyone if done the right way..for a party or event. However, you mentioned that you have fair skin and it might contrast a little too much and make you look even more fair. If that's the look you're going for, go for it..try it before you use it when going out. It always helps for me with dramatic looks!





You might find that you look like a raccoon by the end of the day or something and might not like it. For the same effect of black smoked eyes, try a subtle smokey eye. Type ';easy smokey eye'; in youtube and you'll get tons of results.Good luck!
well .. im paki n i wear dark eyeliner and i have fair skin .. it looks very good .. u should wear it =) .. just make sure if u wanna giv a sumdgy look then u must know how to do it .. and if u wanna make a dark neat line .. then u can do that as well .. it looks awesome cuz it gives alotta attention to the eys =D !
Absolutely, especially if you have large eyes, it will emphasize them in a good way. (and your dark eyelashes) People with blond hair usually have very fair skin (unless they are fake blond), so black on white does not look very appealing.
Definitely, if they are medium to darker skin tones. It actually looks quite natural on - emphasizes the dark lashes.





I'm very fair - so no black for me. Looks really harsh/cheap.
