if you need more info on what im referring to with the eye shadow styles let me know.thanks!Anyone give good makeup [eye liner and eye shadow] tips?
When applying eye shadow, you want to dip the eye shadow sponge into the shadow and dab your inner eye-lid (the side closest to your nose) only once, then you can use your fingertip and smear it across your eye all the way to your outer eyelid. It gives a more dramatic effect.
and the same goes when applying mascara, start with the inner lashes closest to the nose and work your way out.
eyeliner is easy just make sure your pulling down on your eye-lid so you dont poke yourself when your putting it on.
if you need anymore help feel free to email me. ive got loads of tipsAnyone give good makeup [eye liner and eye shadow] tips?
have u checked out the youtube makeup toturials they're great. search for kandee Johnson she has great videos and tips. also makeupgeek too
i have the same problem try using a thin paint brush to blend the colors in it really helps
light color on eye brow
second lightest on eye lid
for a dramatic effect
dark color on your eye crease
and the darkest color on the corner of your eye
its best to buy the eye shadows with the colors chosen for you revlon is good for that
:)
Depending on how much you want to spend:
Clinique eyeshadow's are amazing! They're what i use. It goes on great, and it gives you a natural, pretty, fresh look.
Maybelline or Loreal is good if your going for cheaper. They have this like creamy eyeshadow that looks cool.
HOPE THAT HELPS!
you should use brands like Mac they have som many different shades and they're beutiful
some tips are you can choos a color such as blue for your eyes and cover your lid with a light blue and then choos a darker blue for the outer edges of your eyes, use a brushe to blend the to colors in a little.
use shoould also use eyeshadow on your lower lids too

For a traditional look, end the eyeliner where your natural lashline ends. Try lining both top and bottom lashes, or lining only the top. It’s all about creating different looks and seeing what works best for you.
To create a cat’s eye, draw a line along your upper lashline and extend beyond the lashline giving it a little flick up at the outer edge, then line your bottom lashes, bringing the bottom line to meet with the top line. It will look very similar to a sideways “V”. You can also do something like this, just skip the line along your bottom eyelashes and put on your mascara.
Play around with the thickness of the lines you create. For an everyday look, I definitely recommend a thinner line, but for evening, go a little thicker at the outer corners. Just make sure you are gradually making the line thicker.
